The Department of Training & Placement is the backbone of any institute. From the inception, JIET Group of Institutions lays greater emphasis on industrial training. Practical Training for B. Tech. Students is an integral part of the curriculum and in-built into the programs of study. The institute is also having an Industry Institution Interaction Cell which is meant to bridge up the gap between industry and institution. The students are introduced to industrial practices through training in the college workshops and in factories, installations, work etc. As stipulated under the Rajasthan University Ordinance according to the following programs:

Large numbers of students have been accepted by several Multi National Companies for summer training with financial sustenance. Employment of the students of the college is our major concern. The Placement records of our students are an indicative factor that the college is having very fruitful and meaningful relations with the industries. The demand for our graduates has always been very high. However, during last few months, the demand of our graduates has increased exponentially. Our about 125 young and enthusiastic future engineers have already been accepted by National wide companies, MNCs and public sector as well. Some of these are IBM, Infosys, Mastek, Tata Elexis, Intrigo-Micro, Army, U.S. Technologies, KPMG, Tractor India Limited, GenPact, Ariva, L&T core, Financial Technologies ,Tractor India Limited ,Satyam etc. We have also instigated for 2008 batch consequently 15 students of 2008 batch got selected in U.S. Technologies.

JIET GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS is also proud to become authorized centre for Campus Connect Program of Infosys. This program will be a gateway to IT sector for youngsters.

Despite of having first batch around 15 students of JIET GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS got selected in the IIM's and Universities. Campus Selection teams from many leading Industries of the country and a large number of Multinationals visits the College campus regularly to recruit our Graduating Engineers. This year large number of companies from Japan, Germany & US also approach the department for campus selection.

Consequently many national and multinational companies like Z Drive, L& T Core, Indian Navy, Indian Army, U.S. Technologies, KPMG, Tractor India Limited, GenPact have organized campus recruitment drive at JIET GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS and there are many more likely to visit in near future.

Of course, arranging for the Training and Placements of our students is the primary function; the department has got a Pre Placement Cell which is a unique experiment of its kind. The PPC takes initiative for cultivating right attitudes, soft skills-especially that of verbal communication, motivating our students to have strong technical as well as analytical capabilities.

Adequate and modem infra structural facilities have been created over the years and addition of the facility of Video-Conferencing is on the anvil. Automation of the entire process of booking dates for the companies, call for CVs, feedback mechanism, and arranging for and monitoring the summer & winter Training of our students, will be our next focus.
