Automatic Toll tax System
Brief Description :
Automatic toll tax collector is basically a project in which with the help of proximity sensor and relay we are designing a circuit so that toll tax is collected automatically by inserting the coin. No manual support is needed. Automatic toll tax collector is distinguishing the feature of truck and car by collecting different - different tax from them.
It reduces the time for paying the toll tax and at the same time it reduces the requirement of man-power for the toll-tax collection.

Title :
Green bee
Brief Description :
The objective of this project is to design a simple, easy to install, microcontroller-based circuit to monitor and record the values of temperature, humidity, soil moisture and sunlight of the natural environment that are continuously modified and controlled in order optimize them to achieve maximum plant growth and yield. The controller used is a low power, cost efficient chip manufactured by ATMEL having 8K bytes of on-chip flash memory. It communicates with the various sensor modules in real-time in order to control the light, aeration and drainage process efficiently inside a greenhouse by actuating a cooler, fogger, dripper and lights respectively according to the necessary condition of the crops. An integrated Liquid crystal display (LCD) is also used for real time display of data acquired from the various sensors and the status of the various devices.
This make the proposed system to be an economical, portable and a low maintenance solution for greenhouse application, especially in rural areas and for small scale agriculturists.

Title :
Prepaid Energy Meter
Brief Description :
A scheme of Electricity billing system called “PREPAID ENERGY METER” can facilitate in improved cash flow management in energy utilities and can reduces problem associated with billing consumer living in isolated area and reduces deployment of manpower for taking meter readings. Every consumer can buy a memory card (is nothing but an EEPROM IC) with a password stored inside it using a MC program. The memory card is available at various ranges (ie. Rs 50, Rs 100, Rs 200 etc…). in project the name for memory card is smart card. When the consumer insert a smart card into the card reader which is connected in “prepaid energy meter with tariff indicator” kit. Then the card reader will read the stored information and delete the information from the EEPROM IC (smart card) using the MC program. So that the smart card cannot be reused by other. Suppose if a consumer buy a card for Rs.50/- he/she can insert this amount through the card reader so that prepaid energy meter with tariff indicator kit will be activated. According to the power consumption the amount will be reduced. When the amount is over, the relay will automatically shutdown the whole system.

Title :
Solar Car
Brief Description :
Solar car are powered by the sun’s energy. The main component of a solar car is its solar array, which collect the energy from the sun and convert it into usable electrical energy. The solar cells collect a portion of the sun’s energy and store it into the batteries of the solar car. Before that happens, power trackers converts the energy collected from the solar array to the proper system voltage, so that the batteries and the motor can use it. After the energy is stored in the batteries, it is available for use by the motor & motor controller to drive the car. The motor controller adjusts the amount of energy that flows to the motor to correspond to the throttle. The motor uses the energy to drive the wheels.

Sensor Based Traffic Light System
Brief Description :
The main object of this study was to design and implement a suitable algorithm and its
simulation for an intelligent traffic signal simulator. The system developed is able to sense the presence or absence of vehicles within certain range by setting the appropriate duration for the traffic signals to react accordingly. By Employing mathematical functions to calculate the appropriate timing for the green signal to illuminate, the system can help to solve the problem of traffic congestion. The simulation of the algorithm of the traffic signal system was done using MATLAB software. Hardware simulation tests were successfully performed on the algorithm implemented into a controller. The new timing scheme that was implemented promises an improvement in the current traffic light system and this system is feasible, affordable and ready to be implemented especially during peak hours. A countdown timer interfacing according to the traffic system using Lab VIEW software was also created.
